How can the hospital help me with my practice decisions?

Banner Health has two centralized Physician Recruitment departments: one in Phoenix, Arizona and one in Greeley, Colorado. Both offices provide information and referrals to groups searching for candidates, as well as openings in the Banner Health Medical Group.  In areas with documented shortages, Banner Health can sometimes provide salary guarantees and other assistance to help physicians start or join practices.

What types of practice opportunities are there with Banner Health?

Banner Health maintains a database of openings for both private practice settings and  employment with Banner Health. These openings can be found in the 14 unique and distinctive communities that comprise Banner Health in our seven Western state locations.

In Arizona, the majority of the physician opportunities are in the metro Phoenix area, which leads the nation in terms of population and job growth. Banner Health also has openings at its other Arizona facilities including Page Hospital minutes from the waters of Lake Powell and clinics located in the tall pines of Payson and Williams. Banner Health has many opportunities throughout Alaska, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada, and Wyoming, as well. To speak with someone regarding these positions, please contact us toll free at 866-585-5418.

How do I apply for privileges at Banner Health?

Banner Health maintains a Centralized Verification Organization (CVO) in Greeley, Colorado to assist our Alaska, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada, and Wyoming hospitals with their credentialing needs.

Recently, Banner Health has created a second CVO in Arizona to assist those hospitals with their credentialing needs. Since this is a new Arizona department for the moment, most of our hospitals continue to request that new applicants contact the Greater Arizona Central Credentialing Program (GACCP) to initiate their application. For more information, please contact GACCP. Information is also available through any Banner Health Medical Staff Services office. Learn more online about GACCP or phone 602-256-0705.
