"Having done my internship and residency in Phoenix, my wife and I knew the joy of living in the west and set a goal to return.  I had been practicing in Wisconsin since 1998, but we longed for the beautiful weather and culture of the Southwest…we were tired of the mid-western winters.

As a result of a very satisfying recruitment process, I decided to join the Banner Internal Medicine group.  I knew John DeGuzman from residency…knowing him, I had a feel for what this group was about….during interviews with the other partners I realized the deep commitment that they had to quality was shared by Banner Health.  There was truly alignment with what I wanted for my patients.

Our family goal was realized…we have returned to the Southwest.  Our boys are enrolled in the Gilbert school system which has an excellent reputation.  I am able to enjoy a balanced lifestyle with my family.  The area is rich in cultural offerings, there are a wealth of sport teams, we can go to great restaurants without having to worry about coats, snow, bad weather…My wife, a nurse, enjoys the wide range of shopping available throughout the valley…the boys have become active in scouting…we are in Arizona for the long term and couldn’t be happier."
